Alan Lee, Managing Director

Alan is the key founder of Elmich (Far East) and has had more than 25 years of working experience in the building and construction industry. He holds directorships in several other companies including Elmich (Australia). Prior to founding the Company, Alan was General Manager in a marine and fishery company. He graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture.

Ryan Lee Swee Ann, Executive Director

Ryan has had more than 15 years of international working experience in the public and private sectors, specialising in operation management, strategic planning and project management. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK, Master of Finance from Adelaide University, Australia, and Master of Science in Strategy & Leadership from London Business School which he attended on a Sloan Fellowship Programme. Ryan also holds professional accreditations from the US Green Building Council as a LEED AP, and from the Project Management Institute as a Certified Associate in Project Management.

Ryan is a reserve Lieutenant-Colonel in the Singapore Navy and was a Distinguished Graduate of the US Marine Corps Command & Staff Course at Quantico, USA.

Peggy Tan, Company Secretary / HR and Finance Advisor

Peggy has had over 20 years of experience in the finance and human resource industry. She has held various positions in her career including auditor at an international accounting firm, Coopers & Lybrand, Corporate Finance Manager at Standard Chartered Merchant Bank and Associate Director in DG Bank's merchant bank in in Singapore. Peggy graduated from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons).

Jerry Soh, Regional Director (North America)

Jerry currently heads Elmich North America LLC, our representative company in Seattle.  Jerry has over 30 years of international working experience in business and the military.  He was a Director of a waste treatment and water recovery company, where he was assigned geographical responsibilities in Singapore and USA, in the areas of sales, marketing, R&D and technology commercialisation.  Jerry was previously a senior officer in the Singapore Army, where he held significant command appointments at the division, brigade and battalion levels.

Jerry holds a Bachelors of Social Science (2nd Upper Honours) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and he also attended NUS-Stanford University Senior Executive Management Program.  He is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, UK, the Fuhrungs Akademie Der Bundeswehr at Hamburg, Germany and the US Army War College at Pennsylvania, USA.

Samuel Lim, Director (Waterproofing)

Samuel has over 15 years of experience in the building and construction industry, of which the last 11 years has been with Elmich (Far East). During this period, he has helped develop and subsequently spearheaded the Company's waterproofing business to its current status of being a key player in the industry. Prior to joining the Company, he worked in sales and marketing of architectural products.

Andy Chew, Director (Landscape Engineering)

Andy has over 20 years of experience in the building and construction industry. He started his career at the Housing & Development Board as a Structural Engineer and later worked at Surbana Consultants as Project Manager. Prior to joining the Company, he worked for an Australian public-listed property management company as Product Sales Engineer. Andy graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering.

Alex Li Yuandong, General Manager (Greater China)

Alex heads Elmich representative office in Hong Kong and branch office in Guangzhou, China.  Alex has more than 10 years of working experience in the military and private sectors, specialising in general management, project management, and sales and marketing.  Drawing from his experiences in military, state-owned, private and listed companies, Alex has strong understanding of both international and Chinese markets, and established track records in diverse industries.  Prior to joining Elmich, Alex heads a product division of a NASDAQ-listed solar company.

Alex holds a MBA from Hong Kong University (London Track with London Business School), Bachelor of Arts from Foreign Languages University of People’s Liberation, and Master of Arts from Art Academy of People’s Liberation Army.
