Located along the Marina Bay waterfront, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s 2nd casino-based integrated resort, is a landmark featuring three cascading hotel towers topped by a unique linked sky park that will distinguish it from other buildings in the Bay. The resort and casino is projected to open in the middle of 2010.
 

To facilitate sub-soil drainage about 14,000 sq m VersiCell is being installed in the deep planter trenches along the entire Marina Promenade which has the spectacular view of the bay as a backdrop and also in planter boxes scattered throughout the resort.

About 50,000 sq m VersiDrain 6P is currently in the process of being installed along the entire length of the Marina Promenade fronting the resort as well as other hardscape areas with stone finish. Positioned between the structural slab and topping screed it acts as a separation layer and creates a drainage and ventilation cavity that allows entrapped water in the screed to escape. This prevents water and dissolved salts from accumulating beneath the surface stone pavers or tiles and eventually causing cracks or migrating upward via capillary action to form efflorescence.
 

Femox GmbH, a company supplying specialised building products in Austria, Germany and Switzerland has commenced marketing and distributing Elmich's sub-soil drainage, deck and paver support, underscreed drainage, grass and gravel paving and green wall products in Europe.

These products were exhibited at the recent Swissbau 2010 Expo in Basel Switzerland drawing keen interest and resulting in orders being secured.

The Ren Ci Community Hospital was officially opened on 11th January 2010. To provide a soothing and therapeutic water element into the ambience of the Hospital. VersiJack pedestals were used in the creation of water fountain features beneath the 2 main staircases leading to the 2^nd level, front entrance foyer and in the open courtyard at the roof terrace.
 

The Buddhist-run Ren Ci organisation which relies on public and corporate support and funds raised from of a televised annual charity show, welcomes patients of all races and religions. With the addition of the 277-bed community hospital, the Ren Ci charity organization can now cater to 661 live-in patients at its hospital, nursing home and critical care facilities.

A Elmich Green Wall totalling over 500 sq m is currently being installed at Hotel Michael at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore. The boutique hotel and virtually every aspect within including its linen, crockery, lamps, carpets and furniture, is designed by Michael Graves, one of America’s greatest contemporary architects and the principal design architect for the $6.9 billion integrated resort.

Comprising 7 sections each 3-storeys high, the Elmich Green Wall designed by Singapore-based fellow American landscape architect, Henry Steed, complements the stylish and artistic design of the celebrated architect.
